We hate our kitchen floor!

Not only is the floor white and never looks clean but it has now claimed one of Lily's teeth. Ari and her were playing at the kitchen table and it was one of those moments that I said to myself that I shouldn't let them do that because they might crash. Sure enough Ari tipped her chair over and Lily fell right on her tooth. I called Lani a friend who has a dental surgeon husband and a child who lost a tooth as a toddler. She told me to look for the tooth on the floor or maybe it had just got pushed back in. After mistaking for a noodle a cherrio and reminding myself how dirty white tile floor is. I finally found the tooth root and all.

This is Lily pre-accident and today after lunch with Mac and Cheese all over her face and one tooth missing. I guess I better I've got to get used to her new look because she will be like this for the next 7 years or so.

You may want to see if she needs some sort of space maintainer or that space may close up making it hard to fit all of her permanent teeth in.

i'm guessing that was brent's idea, not kashann's...
Poor little girl. Did it bleed? Her first injury *i think* to blame on her older siblings.

It bled a tone and started up again several times that day. But it didn't seem to phase her too much and she wanted to be out jumping on the trampoline and climbing back on the table. She seems fine now.

Lily and Matt and the destruction of a whole box of kleenex Tom Ari in the tree Matt's birthday
Yesterday the boys had a school holiday so Dave took a day off and we headed for the mountains. My awesome husband loves to ski and spent many hours on the slopes, but that was all before he married me. I would love for him to ski but life happens with a family and budgets exist and it makes skiing a hard hobby to maintain. Plus we spent about 3.5 yrs in Minnesota where you get lots of snow but not a single ski hill in sight-what a waste of snow. The last couple years, I have tried harder to give my husband chances to ski. We even went out about 3 years ago and purchased all the gear at a rental store going out of business. And I close my eyes as I see how much we pay, tell myself it is all worth it, and then smile. (Remember I am cheap so skiing just wouldn't naturally be on my radar.) This year for Christmas I gave my husband 2 lift tickets purchased for a great deal at Costco. First of all, I am used to spending lots of money at Costco and that way I wouldn't stress ...
